Sensory Storytime (Ages 2–5)

Our Sensory Storytime is a calm, play-based experience designed especially for young children ages 2–5. Each 90-minute session invites children to explore a shared topic through stories, sensory play, art, and movement—at their own pace and in ways that feel joyful and developmentally appropriate.

Every storytime is thoughtfully designed around a theme of your choice and may include:

  • Shared picture book experiences woven naturally into play

  • At least two sensory exploration stations using open-ended, hands-on materials

  • A process art activity focused on exploration rather than a finished product

  • Optional movement experiences to support regulation, connection, and whole-body learning

This is not a sit-and-listen program. Children are encouraged to move, observe, participate, or take breaks as needed. Caregivers are welcome to stay nearby and support their child’s comfort and curiosity.

Community Partnerships

My WonderPlay Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to supporting children, families, and educators through play-based, developmentally respectful learning experiences.

We are happy to establish and support community partnerships throughout Central and Southern Maryland, with a special focus on Anne Arundel and Calvert Counties. We would be honored to collaborate with local public and private schools, libraries, community centers, early learning programs, and family-serving organizations.

Our team can plan and facilitate customized events, workshops, and play-based learning experiences that align with your community’s needs and values—whether for children, caregivers, or educators.

If you’re interested in exploring a partnership, we invite you to schedule a short, no-obligation call to learn more and discuss how we might work together.
